Sem Break #1

so... i had 1 week of sem break which started last Saturday right after our finals..
right after finals, gathered with my uni buddies

clockwise from left: jean, diyana, shinyi, shyuan and me :)

we won some sociology class quiz and well.. spent the prize we got for some lunch :X
well, we only got food from the canteen
and chit chat for about an hour?
we were stressing out 1 whole week for finals
and never really met each other for 1 whole week
so 1 hour of random talking for fun was really a whole lotta fun :)
then got into jean's car and did some singing session haha
somehow i become the 'producer' lololololol
we wanted to record a song actually but..
yeah we decided not to because bullshitting was much more fun? xD
they also said i look more like a broadcasting student to-be than corporate communications student to-be haha
anyway,
uni life without them will definitely be so dull and a pain in the ass! (IM SERIOUS :O)

so one whole week of "holiday"
what did i do??
hmmm
hang out with nicole for a day :)
last minute planning but it went well haha~

and the rest of my sem break was history!
i played a lot of games :X
sims 3, BF2, SDO, zoo tycoon, project zoo, some fb games, terraria~~~~~
so this is terraria haha :D

gobling army! booooooooooooooo! xD
buncha suckers after i got my night edge sword and adamantite armor!

then i was practicing my guitar a lot :)
i can officially play the 'Safe and Sound-Taylor Swift' on the guitar :)
another song into the list of 'songs i know how to play' haha!

haha next!
then i started youtube surfing..
my discovery so far has been nice..
i found Jayesslee.. i love both Janice and Sonia! C:
just totally became their fan after hearing few song covers by them
you should totally check them out!!

This is Jayesslee
the one on the right is Sonia (younger) and the one on the left is Janice(elder by 10mins)
i prefer Sonia with short hair rather long hair :X
just compare some of the old videos and the recent ones ><
but anyway, forget the looks,
their voice suits each other so SO much! *hearts*
they are twins, living in australia but their parents are from korea
loved their accent too haha.. very cute!!
seriously i recommend you listen to almost every song they uploaded on youtube
its all good covers :)
but i especially like their cover of..
'Safe and Sound-Taylor Swift', and 'Dare You to Move-Switchfoot'
some old songs would be 'Hero-Mariah Carey'

and I'd like to highlight one of the old uploads
its a korean song..
I don't understand what the song says at all
but according to them, they said its something like 'God is our protector'
copied the title of the song here "하나님은 너를 지키시는 자 "
and in that same video, its also the first time they talk on youtube C:
seriously go check them out if you can't sleep at night
their voice is very soothing :') (whatever they sing is either soothing or just cheers you up!)

for a good laugh,
watch their cover of 'Silent Night' or 'Bubblegum Song'
or their "warm up practices" hahaha
im alive alert awake enthusiastic! (you'll know what i mean if you watch their "warm up" video xD)

the next person i found is Christina Grimmie
TEAM GRIMMIE YO! W ^^ W

this is Christina Grimmie :)
i don't know where is she from but i know she loves to play game..
FUS RO DAH! hahaha
i recommend her cover of 'Titanium-David Guetta ft. Sia'
epic epic epic cover!
oh and her cover of Malukah's cover of 'Dragonborn Comes'
its a Skyrim theme song but its VERY nice and soothing
though its only 2min+ :X

i wished i knew more of these singers
hidden talents!
i never knew them until now :'(
i must have missed out a lot.. or i can catch up by watching ALL of their old videos hehehe ^^

i love em both! Jayesslee and Christina Grimmie
the difference between Jayessless and Christina is...
Janice and Sonia are much more gentle and soft (personality) and their voice is VERY soothing
while Christina has a 'stronger' voice and shes kind of a hyper/wild girl xD
haha
but just enjoy~ :)
you'll know what i mean if u watch their videos

all of them are really great singers!
people should check them out and support their music like.. TOTALLY :)

haha.. just check them out.. i cannot say anymore or else i'd go hyper over them haha C:

moving on,
sem 1 finals results are out...
as a student in general, i guess my results are considered okay
while as an arts students, i guess its just average? oh i dont know? :/

but to me, i targeted 3.5 cgpa and i hit my target :)
i'm satisfied with my sem 1 results ^^
for an ex-science student like me to study econs or sociology and stuffs like that..
everything is new and i had to pick it up RAW
so i'll clap for myself ;D hehe

sem 2 is coming in few days time..
though i got exactly what i wanted but still its a hectic timetable..
it was unavoidable ):
i'll have 8am classes 4 days per week T^T
which means i'll have to wake up at 6.15am if i wanna catch the train T^T
boohoo for me
but NO I DONT WANT TO GIVE UP!
strive harder! (i really just want better results thats all :X)

heck yea, i dont wanna disappoint my parents anymore...
SPM was already a huge blow..
no more such bullshits from me! :P

haha, i guess thats all i have to share for today :)
strive harder for sem 2 thats all i can say!
peace people peace! ^^v
take care of yourselves!

cheers!
