so the pmp jan intake 2013 has ended..
the closing was held at PC block on last Saturday (2/3/2013)
right after my psychology mid term test, jonathan fetched me and christy to PC block.
we went to our venue to find that lighting system and the PA system was not set up.
and tables were all arranged nicely and everyone else was having test.
it was 10am that time and our event starts at 2pm.
So, jon had to go back to PD to fetch people and also at the same time ask about the PA system and the lighting system
So me and christy had to move the tables and chairs to the back.
there was a total of 140 chairs and tables in the room. Huge room i tell you...
70 on the left and 70 on the right..
so each of us carried 70 chairs and 70 tables to the back of the room...
it was hell tiring T^T
im still suffering from muscle aches T^T
and then i forgot that i was actually the food transporter also,
went with chye to transport food..
so there i go.. carrying 20 packs of fried rice while chye carried the other 30 packs..
heck yea it was heavy..
so reach back to PC block and almsot everyone was there
turns out a lot them of decided to bail out T^T
food = wasted
and when the last batch of people came, we started our event..
kicking off with games:
1. Finger Fight
2. some lying on people's lap and make a circle of human game
3. impromptu drama by the mentors
4. 'who is the best'
5. choo choo train
then we ate the fruit yee sang that joseph made for all of us
I know i know.. its way after CNY but yeah everyone enjoyed it ^^
so basically it was all good but i was exhausted by the end of the way T^T
jon fetched me, yuh jing and another 2 more mentees to asia jaya and i headed home :)
overall, im not even sure if the event itself is good or bad but the air cond wasnt working and well it defintiely made the situation worse :/
but yeah, i had fun :)
so now, im retired as a mentor for Jan intake 2013 :)
maybe next time we shall meet again :)
i'd rather be a mentee during my first sem as degree student haha
oughta be helpful :P
